CAIRO – US President Barack Obama won Friday, October 9, the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009, less than ten months in office. The award has raised eyebrows around the world as Obama’s peace efforts have not yet borne fruit. The Afghan war is still raging, American troops are still in Iraq and the Palestinian-Israeli peace talks are stalled.
